Officers arrested a Merced man suspected of smashing the windows of several businesses over the weekend, police reported Monday.
Police arrested Rolland Hanley, 46, of Merced near the 1200 block of West Main Street after a business’s alarm system sounded in that area around 6 p.m. Sunday.
Police said Hanley used a golf club to break the windows of the businesses because he was upset with his girlfriend.
He was booked on suspicion of felony malicious mischief and taken to the Merced County jail.
