Police seek man who exposed himself to Livingston teen

Livingston police are looking for a man who exposed himself Thursday night to a teenage girl.

The girl, 16, was walking just before 8 p.m. in the area of Park and Main streets in Livingston when a man in a faded-green sedan slowed his vehicle and asked if she needed a ride, police Chief Ruben Chavez said.

“She said ‘no,’ and he followed her for a little ways, asking her several times if she wanted a ride,” Chavez said. “He then got her attention as she was walking and exposed himself to her.”

Chavez said the girl went to a nearby home and called police.

The man was described as a Latino in his early 20s with facial stubble and wearing a gray baseball cap. The faded-green sedan is likely a 2000s model Honda or Acura.

He was last seen driving east on Park Street. Police confirmed the man never got out of the vehicle.

“We’re hoping someone from the public knows who this guy is and will give us a call,” Chavez said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Livingston Police Department at (209) 394-7917.
