Two men and one woman have been arrested in connection with an undercover prostitution sting in Merced County, the Police Department announced Monday.

Police last week arrested Julien Desreumaux, 35, Jesus Hercules Valle, 23, and Tiffany King 24, officers said in a news release.

Undercover officers posted bogus online advertisements on “known commercial sex websites.”

“When contacted through the online advertisements, officers negotiated to perform sex acts for money and arrested the subjects when they arrived to engage in prostitution,” police said in the statement.

All three were cited and released without being booked into jail, officers said.

The arrests were made Thursday in connection with the undercover sting, a joint effort between the Merced Police Department’s Disruptive Area Response Team and the Livingston Police Department.

Merced Police are asking anyone with any information regarding these cases to contact Officer Jenkins at 209-385-7773, or the Merced Police Department Tipster Line at 209-385-4725. The public can send information via anonymous text messages to police department by dialing “TIP411” (847411) and including the word “Comvip” as the “keyword” in the text message.
