Chiropractor arrested, accused of sexual assault, Merced police say
A Merced chiropractor was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault Monday, according to the Merced Police Department.
Jaimal Sangha was booked into the Merced County Jail following an investigation by Merced Police Department began into sexual assault claims on Feb. 25. that allegedly occurred in the 500 block of W. 25th Street in Merced.
The female victim reported on multiple occasions Sangha had touched her inappropriately during chiropractic visits.
As detectives followed up on the case, they discovered similar allegations had been made against Sangha.
Sangha denied the allegations when interviewed by detectives, according to the police.
