The Atwater Police Department is looking for help from the public to identify possible suspects who stole a wallet and used the victim’s credit card at different locations.

The incident happened Dec. 29 when a customer left her wallet in a shopping cart at the Food 4 Less store at 2840 Shaffer Road, according to police.

The suspects were caught on surveillance video approaching the cart in the parking lot and taking the wallet.

The suspects were able to successfully use the victim’s credit card at multiple locations.
