Two adults, one minor arrested after loaded guns found in car, Los Banos police say

Los Banos police say three suspects including a minor were arrested Saturday after officers found two loaded guns inside a vehicle.

Just before midnight May 16 officers responded to the 700 block of Texas Avenue for a report of someone brandishing a firearm from a vehicle, according to a Los Banos Police Department Facebook post.

During a search of the area, an officer located a vehicle matching a description of the suspect vehicle. Police say they stopped the vehicle and removed the vehicle’s three occupants.

While searching the vehicle, officers reported finding two loaded pistols, one of which had been reported stolen out of the Modesto area.

Authorities arrested suspects Keyvan Lopez Ibarra, 20, Sebastian Zambrano, 20, and a 16-year-old male on weapons allegations including brandishing a firearm.

Police said Zambrano also faces a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The minor was released to his parents and both Ibarra and Zambrano were released from custody with a notice to appear, according to the news release.
