Three felons arrested after guns, ammunition found at residence, Sheriff’s Office says

Three felons have been arrested after guns and ammunition were found during a probation search, according to authorities.

The men were arrested Tuesday, when the Merced County Sheriff’s Office Supervised Release Team conducted a probation check at a residence located on Seville Way in the the City of Merced, according to a news release.

During the probation compliance check, deputies contacted Na Xiong, 22, Tou Xiong, 28, and Gary Lee, 26. Authorities said all three men are convicted felons on felony probation and lived at the residence together.

During a search of the residence, deputies located three loaded firearms, multiple types of ammunition, two pistol frames and multiple magazines including a 50-round high capacity 9mm magazine, according to the news release.

The Sheriff’s Office said one of the pistols had been reported stolen out of Sutter County.

According to authorities, the three men were booked into Merced County Jail on suspicion of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a high capacity magazine, felon in possession of ammunition and possession of a stolen firearm.
