Delhi homicide victim identified
The Merced County Coroner’s Office on Monday released the name of the 23-year-old Delhi man who was gunned down over the weekend.
Marcos Naranjo-Servin was shot to death around 4 p.m. Saturday in the area of Shanks Road and Letteau Avenue in Delhi, according to the Coroner’s Office.
No arrests have been made.
Deputies have not commented on a motive for the killing or the circumstances surrounding it. They have also not released any information regarding possible suspects in the case.
Naranjo-Servin died at an area hospital shortly after he was shot, deputies said.
His death was the 12th homicide of the year in Merced County and the second case in the sheriff’s jurisdiction.
