32-year old suspect arrested after firearm, drugs found in vehicle, Merced police say

A 32-year old suspect was arrested after a search of his vehicle uncovered a loaded firearm and over 350 grams of methamphetamine in Merced on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, according to police.

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 32-year old suspect on suspicion of possessing a loaded firearm and narcotics on Friday in Merced, according to police.

An officer pulled over a vehicle driven by Kevin Bertuccio, 32, for a lighting equipment violation Friday, according to a social media post by the Merced Police Department.

A search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded firearm and over 350 grams of methamphetamine.

Bertuccio was arrested for weapons violations and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
