Three arrested after gun and drugs found during probation search in Merced, police say

A probation search led to the arrest of three people after a gun, drugs and money related to the sales of narcotics were uncovered Saturday morning in Merced, according to police.

Members of the Merced Police Department Gang Violence Suppression Unit conducted the search about 9:45 a.m. in the 300 block of east 23rd Street.

Officers located a firearm, ammunition, narcotics, scales, and money related to the sales of narcotics, according to a social media post by the Police Department.

Ronald Killman was arrested on suspicion of sales of narcotics and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Other residents including Jeffrey Simpson and Joseph Tolmon were arrested for their alleged involvement in the sales of narcotics, police said.
