Brian Treyvon Alan Chandler was booked into the Merced County Jail on suspicion of aggravated assault, along with a string of lesser allegations, including driving with a suspended or revoked license, receiving stolen property, and resisting or obstructing a peace officer, according to booking records.
Few details were available, but police responded around 9 p.m. Thursday to a report of a fight in the 1100 block of M Street, officers said in a social media post.
Police described the victim as a man with several head lacerations, but few other details were immediately available. Investigators found Chandler a short distance away and took him into custody.
