Two men were shot Friday night after an altercation that started near a high school football game in Merced County.

Officers with the Livingston Police Department responded at 9:15 p.m. to the area of Main and Park streets after reports of two shooting victims.

Officers located the victims, who were taken to a hospital to be treated. Police said one victim had been released; the other has critical injuries.
