Turlock man arrested for Merced County armed robbery, sheriff says
Detectives from the Merced County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 28-year-old Turlock man on Friday for an armed robbery that happened in November.
The Merced Sheriff’s SWAT team served a search warrant in the 500 block of Rockwood Avenue in Turlock.
During the search, detectives recovered two assault rifles equipped with high-capacity magazines and a handgun, the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
Juan Jose Lugo Garcia was booked on charges related to robbery and unlawful firearm possession.
