Dos Palos man arrested for criminal threats; loaded gun seized
A 40-year-old Dos Palos man was arrested Wednesday for making criminal threats and carrying a loaded gun in public, Dos Palos police said Thursday.
Police responded to a reported disturbance at about 12:50 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ida Street.
After an investigation, Christopher Smith was arrested, according to a Dos Palos Police Department Facebook post.
Smith was found having a loaded gun. Two additional guns were seized.
Smith was booked into the Merced County Jail for criminal threats and possession of a loaded firearm in a public place.
