Atwater police investigating stabbing. Here’s what happened
Atwater police are investigating a stabbing that happened Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called out to the scene of the stabbing at 12:53 p.m. in the 3200 block of New Mexico Ave. in Atwater.
They found an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds, according to an Atwater Police Department Facebook post.
The victim was taken by helicopter to an area hospital for treatment. Details on the victim’s condition were unavailable.
The incident remains under investigation, the post said.
