Four suspects arrested for Le Grand robbery, Merced sheriff says
Two teenagers and two juveniles were arrested for a robbery that happened Wednesday evening in Le Grand, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office said.
The robbery was at Le Grand Village Market, according to a Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
Deputies were called to the market, where they learned that four people took bottles of liquor from behind the counter and put them in backpacks.
While grabbing the bottles, the suspects threatened to kill the cashier, the post said.
Authorities believe the suspects had robbed the store before.
All four suspects were still on scene when deputies arrived and were placed under arrest, the post said.
Arrested were two juveniles and two man, Jordan Hamlin, 19, and William Hernandez, 18.
Hamlin and Hernandez were booked into the Merced County Jail for robbery. The other two suspects were booked into juvenile hall.
