29-year-old man arrested in Merced on gun charges
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on gun charges after Merced County sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant in Merced on Thursday.
Working with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Sheriff’s Office detectives served the search warrant at a house on the 3800 block of Perez Drive.
According to a Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, investigators located:
- A Smith and Wesson MP Shield handgun
- A GSG-16 rifle
- An FMK handgun
- 4 grams of cocaine
- 8 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
Elias Camarillo was arrested and booked into the Merced County Jail for being a felon in possession of a firearm and a felon in possession of ammunition.
