Los Banos man, 39, faces multiple felonies after crashing stolen vehicle

An attempted traffic stop of a stolen Jeep Wrangler turned into a vehicle pursuit and eventually a crash in Los Banos on Wednesday morning.

At about 11:45 a.m. officers from the Los Banos Police Department tried to stop a white Jeep Wrangler, which had been reported stolen, in the area of West H Street and Texas Ave.

The driver of the Wrangler sped off and crashed into a pickup truck, according to a Los Banos police Facebook post.

There were two people in the Jeep, who were injured and taken to Los Banos Memorial Hospital.

The driver and a passenger in the truck had minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, Julian Robles, 39, of Los Banos, was arrested and faces several felony charges, police said.
