Los Banos teen on probation arrested after being found with pistol
A Los Banos teenager who was on probation was arrested for possession of a firearm after he was found with a pistol on April 22, police said.
Members of the Los Banos Police Department’s gang unit were patrolling in the 900 block of Granada Circle when they spotted a vehicle parked on the street with several subjects inside.
One of the occupants was 19-year-old Fernando Rosales Sanchez, who was on active probation with conditions that he could be searched, according to a Los Banos police Facebook post.
Inside the vehicle, police found an unregistered pistol.
Rosales Sanchez was arrested for felony firearm violations and booked into the Los Banos Police Department Jail with bail set at $100,000.
