According to a press release, the department identified Ivan Gonzalez, 24, as a suspect in the homicide. He was arrested June 25 after being served multiple search warrants at various locations.

He was booked on the charge of conspiracy to commit murder. Gonzalez is the first arrested, but MPD believe there were more people involved in the crime.
