Los Banos police arrest man, 49, for possession of child sex abuse material
A 49-year-old man has been arrested for possession of child sexual abuse material, the Los Banos Police Department said Thursday.
Los Banos police were notified of a man attempting to arrange a meeting with an 11-year-old child. After an investigation, police learned that he also was linked to referrals from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Detectives determined that accounts associated with the man, Joe Flores, 49, had been used to upload and possess child sexual abuse material, according to a Los Banos police Facebook post.
On June 30, Flores was taken into custody.
He faces charges of possession of child sexual abuse material, as well as enhancements for possessing more than 600 images or 12 videos depicting child sex abuse material.
