Man stabbed in face at Winton bar
An apparent disagreement over a woman ended early Monday at a Winton bar with one man stabbed in the face, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputies responded just before 2 a.m. to El Rincon bar on Winton Way and found the victim, whose identity was not released.
His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
Sgt. Delray Shelton said the victim and witnesses were “uncooperative” with investigators.
No arrests have been made.
Investigators are looking for two men, described as Latinos in their early to mid-20s who were last seen in a red truck.
The type of weapon used in the incident was not immediately clear, deputies said.
