Merced man stabbed after argument
A 37-year-old Merced man was stabbed in the arm early Friday by another man who remains at large, the Police Department said.
The victim suffered a deep wound that appeared serious, but he is expected to survive, investigators said.
An argument between the victim and another person, identified only as a Latino man known as Chino, turned violent around 3 a.m. in the area of G and 25th streets, Capt. Matt Williams said.
The nature of the argument was unclear. No arrests have been made, Detective Joe Deliman said.
