Home for sale in Ohio has a sweet — and tasty — surprise in the basement. Take a peek
A home on the real estate market in Findlay, Ohio, for $899,900 is hiding a delicious surprise in the basement — along with a few other features that will make your inner child go nuts.
An ice cream parlor.
That’s right: an ice cream parlor, along with a full bar, home theater and even an additional bedroom with full bathroom are tucked away in the basement.
That’s basically an entertainer’s paradise.
The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home comes with an array of other fun-loving features, according to the listing on Zillow, including:
Grand living room
Indoor lap pool
Sauna
Huge primary spa shower
The almost 5,000-square-foot residence caught the attention of the popular social media page Zillow Gone Wild because of its drool-worthy basement.
“This house is like a mullet… business in the front, party in the back (basement),” one person joked.
“This is an awesome house!” another exclaimed. “All the kids’ friends would be over all the time. An actual indoor pool room and no carpet, an ice cream parlor and a movie room and the rest looks really nicely done.”
“Please center that sectional in front of the TV,” someone noted. “Otherwise this house is perfection!!”
“I would like the indoor swimming pool to look outdoorsy, like kind of natural... but not too natural, just a little natural... like maybe just one big fake rock in that one corner and that’s all... nailed it!” another person joked.
“I’d say that’s probably a good price for all the extras!” one person pointed out.
“Dang, a deep fryer and short order grill?” another asked. “That’s a whole diner!”
“There’s a double fryer, these folks are serious,” one person said.
“I’m digging the ‘car wash’ in the master bath but the lack of recliners in the theater room is disappointing,” another remarked.
Findlay is about 117 miles southwest of Cleveland.
