Reese Witherspoon relists California home after elegant flip. See inside $25M mansion
Not only does actor Reese Witherspoon excel in the world of Hollywood, but she also appears to have a keen eye — not to mention impeccable style — when it comes to real estate. The star of the HBO hit drama “Big Little Lies” and her husband, talent agent Jim Toth, have relisted their Brentwood, California, home for $25 million after a striking renovation.
Witherspoon purchased the seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom home in 2020 for $16 million, Dirt reported, and bestowed some flipping magic on the property, considering the before photos.
Sitting on 3.1 acres in a secluded part of a high-end Los Angeles neighborhood, the 10,343-square-foot residence sports some keen upgrades throughout the interior, the listing on Realtor.com says.
“Custom-designed finishes and woodwork highlight an open yet intimate floor plan that exudes volume and scale in every room,” the listing describes.
“The formal entrance is a stunning two-story foyer with black & white marble and limestone tile framed by a white oak, quarter-turn staircase with custom-designed steel & brass handrails.”
Other features include:
Formal living room
Wood-paneled office
Chef’s kitchen with butler’s pantry
10 French doors that “open to a rolling front lawn”
Swimming pool
Spa
Eight-seat bar in backyard
Witherspoon has been busy with work, both producing and acting in numerous projects over the past couple years, including another “Legally Blonde” movie, which is in pre-production, according to IMDb. The Academy Award winner was named one of Forbes “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” in 2021.
