An ‘upscale treehouse?’ You can stay at this secluded Georgia vacation home
Treehouses aren’t just for kids.
You can vacation at an “upscale treehouse” in the woods of Georgia.
The two-bedroom cozy home was listed on VRBO for about $455 a night and it sleeps up to five people. VRBO is an online vacation rentals website.
The home is nestled in the trees in Blue Ridge and it’s suspended over a ravine with views of a national forest, the hosts say on their listing.
Blue Ridge is about 95 miles north of Atlanta in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest.
And yes, those are trees growing through the roof and the decks to make it feel more like you’re in a real treehouse.
From inside the home, there are huge windows facing the woods and skylights facing a “starry night.” Tree branches decorate the home and give it a warm feel.
Outside, there’s a large wood deck with a hot tub, grill and areas to lounge around.
The hosts recommend not driving a low-riding vehicle because of the gravel and dirt road that leads to the secluded stay.
