This tiered cake estate for sale in Baltimore is confusing ‘Zillow Gone Wild.’ See why
An estate with a very charismatic exterior, and a someone puzzling interior, has hit the real estate market in Baltimore, Maryland for $579,900.
From the street, the view of the eight-bedroom, six-bathroom home looks like it resembles a fancy cake with whisps of baby blue and white while the inside looks like a glossy, marble-like sculpture.
Imagine the sleekness pouring in when nature light hits those floors.
There are loads of elaborate features spread out over the home’s 5,590 square feet, the listing on Zillow.com says, including:
Marble tile
Four fireplaces
Balconies
High ceilings
Open concept floor plan
The home caught the eye of the popular real estate Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild, and fans were unsure how to feel about the shiny digs.
“Can you even imagine how pretty this would have been if they had just restored all those wood trim details and kept the character of this place?” one person asked. “Instead, it’s cold and reminiscent of a diaper somehow.”
“That’s got to be an echo chamber with all that marble!” another said. “Neat house. I’d want to see more of the woodwork.”
“I love marble,” one person commented. “Half the floors in my house and even half the walls are marble! However your baseboards are not meant to be part of your seasonal color scheme?”
“Great for roller skating!” one person joked.
“The house would be gorgeous if you replaced all of those (marble) floors with hardwood!” another suggested. “Looks cold.”
