Krispy Kreme to give away free doughnuts – but only if you wear this. What to know
Krispy Kreme will bring back a fan favorite in time for St. Patrick’s Day, and guests can get it for free.
There’s a catch, however.
Customers must wear green to participating Krispy Kreme shops to receive a free green O’riginal Glazed Doughnut, the Charlotte-based doughnut chain announced. The offer is available in-store March 16 and 17, and no purchase is necessary.
The free doughnuts are limited to one per person. For those in the mood to share, the green treats are also available to purchase by the dozen.
Earlier this month, Krispy Kreme introduced its limited time St. Patrick’s Day collection featuring four new festive doughnuts. They are:
- Golden Cookies & Kreme™ Doughnut featuring a golden cookie Kreme™-filled doughnut shell dipped in icing and topped with golden cookie pieces and a gold sprinkle blend.
- Hat O’ Gold Doughnut featuring a chocolate iced doughnut with a plaid green icing pattern and decorated with a leprechaun hat sugar piece.
- Golden Sprinkle Doughnut featuring an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in green icing and topped with gold St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles.
- Rainbow Kreme Filled Doughnut featuring an unglazed shell filled with White Kreme, topped with green icing, a rainbow sugar piece, vanilla buttercream, and gold coin sprinkles.
