Where can I find latest election results for California?
You can view unofficial election results on the California Secretary of State website.
Early election results are available for U.S. president, senators and representatives, as well as 10 statewide ballot propositions.
You can also view local election results for ballot measures and government offices by county.
As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 100% of precincts had submitted partial vote counts, with final results still pending.
How did California vote in the presidential race?
In California, about 57.3% of voters cast their ballots for the Democratic candidate for U.S. president, Vice President Kamala Harris, according to early election results.
Approximately 40.1% of California voters cast their ballots for the Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump.
Only 2.6% of California voters cast their ballots for other candidates.
When will official election results be released?
During the canvass period following Election Day, ballots will continue to be counted, the California Secretary of State website says.
“Election results will change throughout the ballot counting canvass period as vote-by-mail ballots, provisional ballots (including conditional voter registration provisional ballots), and other ballots are tallied,” the state website says.
County election officials are required to report final official results for presidential electors by Dec. 3 and for all other state contests by Dec. 6.
“The Secretary of State will certify the results on Dec. 13,” the state website says.
