Welfare only with work component. Full opening of the economy while emphasizing responsible health citizenship with individual liberty.
What more would you do to address California’s housing crisis?
Expansion of neighborhood rent control districts, requirement for developers to embed affordable service personnel housing. 70% tax credit for revitalization of any historical building.
What should California do to build up its middle class?
Lower taxes, pro eco-sensitive industry policies to bring industries back to California and provide more jobs for Californians.
Would you propose any new policies to address climate change?
Federal/state subsidy for eco solar and wind power retrofitting, including landlord installation subsidies. All state buildings, facilities, active properties, state vehicles, law enforcement fleets operating fully on solar/wind/alternative energy (hydrogen) within 2 years. Creation of large scale work force for fire forestry maintenance, recycling programs, beach clean up/ocean preservation. Statewide compliance of single use biodegradable utensils/packaging. Severe fines for industrial polluters. Drought tolerant plant mandates. Preferential water rates for organic and humane animal food production.
What should California do in the long term to address wildfire and drought conditions?
As stated above, installation of large scale workforce for forestry maintenance and address climate change with previously stated environmental policy.
