Health reactions caused a recall of 137,000 cases of Jolly Rancher-flavored Popsicles
About 137,000 cases of single Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pops usually bought out of ice cream trucks, reach-in freezers and concession stands were recalled Wednesday.
The recall notice from manufacturer Unilever says milk might be in the desserts, and milk isn’t listed as an allergen on the packaging.
Along with the usual notice of “Persons who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” Unilever’s alert says, “There have been two reported allergic reactions in connection with the use of this product.”
