The cans say ‘Celsius,’ but they might contain vodka seltzer. There’s a recall
Two lots of High Noon vodka spritzer variety 12 packs have been recalled because they might contain a wayward can of Celsius — but that can of Celsius might not contain Celsius.
“The recall was initiated after High Noon discovered that a shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty CELSIUS cans to High Noon,” said High Noon owner Gallo’s FDA-posted recall notice.
This covers High Noon Beach Variety 12-Packs, lot Nos. L CCC 17JL25 14:14 – 11:59 and L CCC 18JL25 00:00 – 03:00. The wayward Celsius can would be a Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparking Blue Razz Edition, which has a silver top instead of the usual black top.
“Even if not purchased in a High Noon Beach Variety pack, consumers should be advised to ensure their Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition does not contain the lot Nos. L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11, prior to consuming.”
Gallo said the recalled packs went to stores in Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Virginia and Wisconsin. Kroger’s recall notice on its website says this hits Mariano’s, Metro Market, Pick n Save stores and Kroger stores in North Carolina; South Carolina; Eastern Kentucky; Georgia; Central, Northwest and Southeastern Ohio; Michigan; Virginia; and Auburn, Alabama.
