More charges in Modesto triple homicide

Prosecutors have filed criminal charges against three people accused of acting as accessories in shooting deaths of a man and two teenagers inside a two-story house in a typically quiet east Modesto neighborhood near Creekside Golf Course eight months ago.

Malissa Boldroff, 20, Jose Manuel Obregon, 19, and Abbygail Castillo, 26, are suspected of harboring, concealing, or aiding a suspect involved in the shooting deaths of Edward Reinig, 31, Alyxandria Tellez, 19, and David Siebels, 16.

Boldroff and Obregon appeared for a pretrial hearing this morning in Stanislaus County Superior Court. Authorities were still searching for Castillo.

Deputy District Attorney Marlisa Ferreira informed the judge that she will be seeking higher bail amounts for Boldroff and Obregon.

Judge Dawna Reeves scheduled the defendants to return to court Nov. 29 to review their bail. Boldroff has already been released on bail; Obregon remains in custody at the Stanislaus County Jail.

No other arrests have been made in connection with the triple homicide, which occurred about 3:40 a.m. March 3 at the home in the 700 block of North McClure Road.

Officers responded to a report of the shooting and found the three gunshot victims inside the house. Reinig, Tellez and Siebels were pronounced dead at the scene.
