An updated frost advisory was released by the NWS Eureka CA on Thursday at 10:21 p.m. valid for Friday between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. for Coastal Del Norte and Northern Humboldt Coast.

The NWS informs, "Temperatures as low as 35 degrees will result in frost formation."

"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," explains the NWS. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."

This advisory is in effect until Friday at 8 a.m.
