Is rain on the way to Merced County? Here’s what weather service says
Merced County enjoyed ideal weather for Easter weekend, but things are expected to change later this week.
High temperatures will stay in the low 80s through Wednesday, but rain is in the forecast after that, according to the National Weather Service.
Here’s what the NWS says to expect Thursday through Sunday:
- Thursday: A slight chance of rain before 11 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after that. A high near 78 degrees.
- Friday: A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high of 71.
- Saturday: A 20% chance of rain and thunderstorms and a high around 70.
- Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71.
According to weather.com’s 10-day forecast, Merced could see rain the following week as well.
