Merced County will see a dramatic surge in temperatures. How hot will it get?
It’s been a cool and rainy spring, but things are about to change in a dramatic way.
Merced County residents will see a huge increase in temperatures this week, with a jump of more than 30 degrees from Monday to Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
A high temperature of 66 degrees on Monday will rise to a high of 97 degrees on Sunday, according to the NWS.
According to The Weather Channel’s 10-day forecast, Merced could see a high of 99 degrees on Monday.
Here’s the NWS outlook for the rest of this week:
- Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.
- Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 80.
- Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 87.
- Friday: Sunny, with a high near 88.
- Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 92.
- Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 97.
