Lake wind advisory in place for West Side Mountains north of 198 until 2 a.m. Thursday

On Wednesday at 1:34 p.m. the NWS Hanford CA issued a lake wind advisory valid from 5 p.m. until Thursday 2 a.m. for West Side Mountains north of 198.

The NWS informs, "West winds around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph expected."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," explains the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."

This advisory is in effect until Thursday at 2 a.m.
