Merced County weather for the coming week: Expect June temperatures to rise

After a couple of cooler days, look for the temperatures to rise again in the Merced County this coming week.

After mild highs on Friday and Saturday, it will return to the mid-to-upper 90s beginning Sunday, according to the National Weather Service’s extended forecast.

The good news: No triple digits on the way.

Expect Sunday through Friday to be sunny and hotter. Here’s a look at the daily weather service predictions:

  • Sunday, June 21: high near 91 degrees, with a low around 61
  • Monday, June 22: high near 95 and a low around 64
  • Tuesday, June 23: hotter, near 98, low around 65
  • Wednesday, June 24: another day near 98, low around 65
  • Thursday, June 25: high near 96, low around 63
  • Friday, June 26: high around 95, low near 65
  • Saturday, June 27, high around 92; (no low logged as of yet)
