Kern River Valley under a lake wind advisory until Sunday night, says the NWS

On Sunday at 2:25 p.m. a lake wind advisory was released by the NWS Hanford CA in effect until 11 p.m. for Kern River Valley.
The NWS informs, "West winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph."
"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," says the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
This advisory is in effect until 11 p.m.
