John K. Wheeler: The ER staff cheated COPD of one of its victims – me
Last Friday, only nine of the usual 10 people died of COPD (chronic pulmonary obstructive disease) in America. The emergency room staff and the 7th floor magicians saved me, I am convinced. I especially thank the respiratory techs George and Rocio and the great nurses who do everything to make us better. I am forever grateful.
