Connie Warren: Trump a ‘genius’ for working system, but not those who get welfare
That Donald Trump has paid no taxes is being lauded as “proof” of his business acumen by the Republican faithful. He has simply taken advantage of legal loopholes, the same as all the rest of us who fill out the long form every April. In other words, he knows how to work the system. Isn’t it funny, when we use the same words to describe an unemployed mother on welfare and receiving food stamps, it isn’t a compliment?
