Andy Krotik: As wife, mother of cops, Vierra knows what Atwater needs

I have been a public safety advocate for nearly 25 years in Atwater. To date, I have never seen an Atwater City Council candidate as qualified as Cindy Vierra to help make our streets safe again.

Cindy’s husband is a police officer, as are two of her sons. Rarely does she lay her head down at night that one of her family members is not protecting our community. She understands better than anybody the tools our brave souls need to protect us, and themselves. She lives it.

Atwater has had more than 70 calls for shots fired this year. The Atwater police department is severely understaffed. The officers need better pay and more modern police cars, according to Chief Sammy Joseph. Join me along with The Atwater Police Officers Association in voting for Cindy Vierra for city council. A vote for Cindy is a vote for better police protection for our community.
