Natasha Ambriz: There’s a chance to make Atwater council more diverse

I want to applaud Atwater Councilman Jim Vineyard who pushed for district elections to make our city council more reflective of our diverse community. Currently, our council is a “men’s only” club with no diversity to speak of. That’s why, on Nov. 8, I place my optimism and confidence in Daniel Hernandez and Cindy Vierra to ensure that positive changes reflect equality in our very diverse community.
