Robert Tyler: Can workforce investments include lessons in appearance?

Re “County gets much needed grant” (Page A1, Feb. 26): Regarding the article on the $950,000 the Merced County Department of Workforce Investment received, I hope some of it goes to help people learn about courtesy and personal appearance necessary in business environments. For example, not wearing the hood over your head in an office. (Provided no medical conditions mandate it.)
