Robert Chad: The person who left a loaded gun where kids could get it is a criminal
Re “Child killed in shooting by sibling” (Page 8A, Jan. 13): It was described as a “terrible accident.” In reality, it was no accident; it was a travesty! Whoever left a loaded handgun accessible to to anyone but themselves, much less a child, is a criminal and should be held accountable for the death. One child and one gun owner will live with the guilt for the rest of their lives and one child won’t have a life.
