Bob Longobardi: Why can’t I get a passport here in Merced
Can anyone explain why it takes a trip to Modesto or Los Banos to obtain a passport? I seem to remember getting mine at the post office on M Street. How did we lose the ability to issue passports in Merced! It sure is an inconvenience having to deal with all those wannabe NASCAR drivers on Highway 99 to get one.
