Eduardo Perez: Appropriating MID logo in campaign wasn’t ethical
Why is Merced Irrigation District candidate Billy Pimentel using the MID logo on his signs and cards? He didn’t pay for that logo! MID is a public agency; taxpayers paid for it.
MID hasn’t endorsed him for re-election. I doubt any of his current director colleagues have endorsed him; Pimentel shouldn’t try to fool the voters by suggesting they have.
