Jarred Simmons: McDaniel turns his back on poor constituents

Congratulations to Supervisor Daron McDaniel who saw fit to use non-profits for his personal election use through photo shoots, flipping pancakes with star-and-stripes in the background. Now he turns his back on the volunteer, non-profit, can-do constituency who elected him.

While crime is on the increase in his district, which continues its economic decline, McDaniel suggests non-profits pay $35 to fund our state university education system through continuing education funding, while other districts within Merced County receive the benefit of discretionary funds helping those who can least afford it.

Jarred Simmons, Atwater
