Pat Trieweiler: What happened to Adam Gray stinks

I am writing to express my appreciation of Adam Gray’s efforts in fighting for valley agriculture. He has paid a political price for his efforts, but has my respect for trying. And this comes from a conservative Republican.

It is not his fault that our state government has an odor to it. While many politicians in our state don’t give a horse’s patoot about valley agriculture, Gray does.

It would be nice if more politicians would follow his example and exhibit some backbone.

Fair play and bipartisan discourse are a foreign language in state politics. Instead, it is a knife in the back for trying to represent agricultural concerns. The more things change, the more they stay the same. It’s all about egos and power, and it stinks.
