Liliana Prado: Undocumented but still contributing to society

Others may see it differently but it’s a fact, migrant undocumented workers are a critical component to our economy. They contribute billions in tax dollars alone, yet do not get the basic services that most have due to their status. Undocumented or not, they are people. They are our neighbors, our friends and our co-workers. We must look past creed and culture to understand that basic services such as health care and others are a human-right regardless of status. That is why in Merced County I support Health4All, because my neighbors, my friends, my co-workers deserve it as well as the millions in California.
